Passionate About:

I am a sophomore honors student at Central Michigan University, pursuing a degree in kinesiology with aspirations of becoming a physician assistant. At an early age I was captivated by the health field and upon my arrival at the university I have searched for ways to further my experience and passion with medicine. Traveling to Honduras by participating in a medical brigade will allow me to gain direct experience, as I will be providing services to individuals and also shadowing various licensed practitioners. Of more importance to expansion of knowledge and experience, my peers and I will be helping those of need in underprivileged communities. I find it a personal duty as a future health care provider to be exposed to various cultures, people and particular circumstances. I look forward to my experience with global brigades! Any and all donations are highly appreciated.

Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
