As a member of the IWU Medical Brigades, I will be bringing medical aide to the people of rural Honduras who truly need it. There are many people there who have never even had the opportunity to brush their teeth before a brigade has visited, let alone see a physician. A situation like that is unfathomable for those who are more fortunate, but for many Hondurans it is a sad reality. Thank you so much for visiting this site and any contribution you may make to the trip. It means so much to me and the people you will be helping!

Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
