University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MichiganPassionate About:
Before coming to the University of Michigan I studied in Lancaster, England at Capernwray Bible College as part of a year-long missionary and Bible study program. Through this experience, I realized that I wanted to pursue a degree in nursing because it is a perfect opportunity for me to combine my passion for mission with my passion to serve and help others. Through observing other nurses and spending time with patients in clinical I have experienced that nursing is about service. It is not glamorous or glorified, it is simply necessary, loving, and giving. This is why I want to be a nurse; I simply want to serve. Within this field, I hope to provide nursing care internationally through medical missionary opportunities. Honduras will be one of my first opportunities to serve abroad!
