As a person committed to both volunteering and in alleviating the plight of people in poverty, I hope to help others through works abroad. As a Berkeley student who is a member of numerous organizations, including UC Berkeley Rotaract, I've always tried to perform services in my community. Having the opportunity to extend my abilities through the Global Brigades would be incredible. I would like to thank the generosity of contributors to my cause, including my hometown Rotary: Tujunga-Sunland-Shadow Hills #720, District 5280.

Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
