Passionate About:

I have a passion for people and I do my best to have the heart of a servant. I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but initially came to KU to extend my swimming career, as well as Pre-Medical education. My career ambitions are to become a Pediatric Oncologist and to be the hands and feet of Christ no matter where He leads me. I am a firm believer in Global Health, and would love if you help me in helping others in Panama. While I am there, I get the amazing opportunity to serve a rural area by running health clinics, while also teaching locals how to maintain a healthy community. Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
