Passionate About:

I am 21 years old and I am from a small town in central Maine. I am a senior at UNH majoring in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I am looking at a future in medicine, particularly as a physician assistant. I enjoy getting exposure to medicine by volunteering at the emergency department of Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New Hampshire. My passions are being with friends, listening and playing music, reading, being active outdoors, and medicine. I am truly looking forward to the opportunity that Global Medical Brigades has to offer, and I am very excited to have the honor of being one of the founding presidents. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
