I am a senior at Arizona State University studying Biological Sciences (Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior) and Psychology. I am currently on a pre-med track because my future career goal is to become a caring physician. In addition to my studies, I also work as an Emergency Department Scribe for Banner Hospitals. I joined Global Medical Brigades because I stand by their values that a temporary fix will not create a lasting impact. Health is an important factor in an individual's life but it is not the only factor. GMB focuses on a holistic model approach to help better an individual's life satisfaction by focusing not just on their health, but their education, economy, infrastructures, etc. By volunteering with GMB I have been able to immerse myself in this model and actually implement it in real-life situations.
