I will be traveling to Panama in June 2012 with 24 other Brooklyn College students to provide basic health needs to under-served communities in the country. Throughout the year, we will be collecting medications, recruiting medical professionals, and raising money to fund our trip. Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world.
