Helping others in any way possible is what I constantly strive to do. No matter how small, lending a helping hand always brings me great joy, as it often brings smiles to many faces! This drive to help others has given my my aspiration to work in the medical field. With Medical Brigades, I not only get to give healthcare to those in Panama who are not fortunate enough to have access to prime healthcare, but I am also able to change the lives of many through the education of good hygiene which can be shared with friends and family , as well as bring smiles of joy to so many men, women, and children.

Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.
