Alex's Message

For the past few months I have been co-organising a volunteering project in Ghana.

The project aims to facilitate social change in Ekumfi Adansemaim, a small community in Central Ghana. We will be working on developing financial literacy and entrepreneurship skills among the members of the community.

For the project to come to life, I need your support to raise the £550 that will cover the costs of the project, part of which will go directly to the community.

Volunteer Activity Description

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.
