Hi everyone I am a dental hygienist hoping to expand my knowledge in dentistry. Helping people through a career in dentistry brings a deep sense of personal fulfillment. More specifically volunteering aboard can be one of the most rewarding and enriching experiences. I am very excited to embark on this journey and help those in Jarabacoa, DR. In order to do so we must raise enough for supplies, staff and travel expenses. Throughout this experience we will be assisting dentists, performing basic triage, as well as teaching dental hygiene in elementary schools. I am looking forward to helping those in need. I will appreciate any donations made towards this trip.

VAW Global Health Alliances develops community health systems while providing interns the opportunity to work alongside experienced local healthcare professionals. VAW Global Outreach trips provide interns with an opportunity to work first hand with experienced local professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and sustainable development.
