Hi everyone! I am currently a student at Wright State University doubling majoring in Physiology & Neuroscience and Psychology on a pre-dental track. I have been in the dental field for almost four years now and am pursuing to continue my journey in it. I am passionate about advocating for others, particularly in underserved communities. I care deeply about improving the well-being of individuals who might not have access to necessary dental resources. My passion branches from wanting to make a difference in the lives of those who face significant barriers in healthcare. I am a first generation daughter to immigrant parents and personally know what it is like to face significant barriers in accessing healthcare. I am motivated by the desire to give back and empower people through receiving proper oral health.

VAW Global Health Alliances (VAW Global) is a global health and development organization committed to cultivating sustainable and equitable partnerships with local communities and professionals through support and capacity-building for essential and accessible health services. Our focus is to work hand-in-hand with local initiatives and leaders to provide communities with improved access to medical, dental, and veterinary treatment, medication, nutritional security, clean water, and health education.

VAW Global Health Alliances develops community health systems while providing interns the opportunity to work alongside experienced local healthcare professionals. VAW Global Outreach trips provide interns with an opportunity to work first hand with experienced local professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and sustainable development.
