My name is Joli, and I am a passionate advocate for being at service to others. A 23-year old Dominican-American with the aspirations of becoming a healthcare provider in the future, my goal is to amplify the voices of marginalized communities and use my knowledge to help serve them in a compassionate way. As I continue to navigate through life, I realize how much our health really plays a critical role in wellbeing and ability to just live. This is why I am passionate about advocating for the healthcare of others.

Everyone deserves good quality and accessible healthcare, because our health is vital to how we function individually and as a world. That is why I am eager to lead a group of other passionate students to provide healthcare and economic relief to low and middle income families in Peru during summer 2024 with VAW Summer Medical Team. I am looking to raise $1,000 to help me pay for medical supplies, medications, and medical training to provide to the local community in Peru that I will be working with.

When you donate, you are providing one person, family, and/or child with the opportunity to have access to medicine and to treat their healthcare needs. When you selflessly give, you are helping someone in need regain their autonomy to their health and wellbeing.
