I'm a 4th year undergraduate student at the University of Florida. I'm double majoring in Nutrition and Clarinet Performance with hopes of going to Dental School in the Future. I am passionate about pursuing a career in dentistry and helping others, particularly those who normally would not have access to dental care. This passion and drive to provide dental care to all is what helped me decide to go on this trip to the Dominican Republic with Volunteers Around the World for summer 2015. This is a great opportunity that will allow me to explore the field I love, reassure myself that this is the career for me, and give care to those who otherwise would not have access to dental care. Any amount you can donate will help make this trip a reality for me and benefit many natives of the Dominican Republic.
