Please help me return to serve the community of Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic this summer from April 28th through May 7, 2017!

After attending this Dental Mission trip for the last two summers, I knew that I was destined to return to this small village. These people opened their hearts and homes to us and truly forged a once in a lifetime experience. They embodied the true meaning of gratitude and appreciation. Despite having so little, they had permanent smiles on their faces. I learned to cherish all of my blessings by observing the beautiful attitude demonstrated by the villagers.

Help me give back to the community that gave me so much by allowing me to combine my passion for dentistry and service. Any donation is greatly appreciated, and no amount is too small.

VAW Global Health Alliances (VAW Global) is a global health and development organization committed to cultivating sustainable and equitable partnerships with local communities and professionals through support and capacity-building for essential and accessible health services. Our focus is to work hand-in-hand with local initiatives and leaders to provide communities with improved access to medical, dental, and veterinary treatment, medication, nutritional security, clean water, and health education.

VAW Global Health Alliances develops community health systems while providing interns the opportunity to work alongside experienced local healthcare professionals. VAW Global Outreach trips provide interns with an opportunity to work first hand with experienced local professionals in the fields of medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine and sustainable development.
