I am currently a nursing student and volunteer in a local hospital. I am passionate about nursing, medicine, and traveling. I have lived abroad and traveled for leisure, but I have yet to combine traveling with my nursing. I am excited for this opportunity to use the skills I've gained in school, and to learn from the medical staff in Peru.

VAW at California State University, Sacramento (Peru)

Volunteer Activity Description

Join the Sacramento State chapter of VAW as we travel on a Medical Outreach trip to Cuzco, Peru this upcoming summer! Volunteers will work in mobile medical clinics, where they will have the opportunity to intake patients, conduct public health surveys, take vitals, shadow local physicians, work in the pharmacy, teach education classes, and much more!
