Hello! My name is Aidan Crawford and I am so excited to announce that I will have the opportunity to be a medical intern in Peru this January! I will be traveling alongside 24 other students from my university and will be working with VAW Global Health Alliance. VAW is a health and developmental organization that works to provide sustainable and accessible healthcare to low and middle-income countries. As an intern, I will have the opportunity to work with local medical professionals to help run a free clinic for the surrounding communities. I am so excited about this amazing opportunity and would greatly appreciate any support you could offer! As an intern, we are tasked with raising $1100 that will go toward the clinic’s medications, local medical staff salary, and intern housing and transportation.
