I believe dental care is often undervalued when the general public declares an immediate list of health necessities. My passion lies in remembering how important dental care is across the world. Discomfort can genuinely lead to malnutrition; which is only a bridge to a host of other health hazards. Something as simple as a toothbrush can go a very long way when it comes to dental hygiene. My hope is to aid and provide comfort for all those individuals in need of oral healthcare.

About Us

The Ohio State University chapter of Volunteers Around the World (VAW) consists of students that are enthusiastic and committed about addressing the health disparities that currently exists in developing countries. Through close collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization, Volunteers Around the World, our club at OSU strives towards providing rural communities in developing countries access towards dental treatment and oral hygiene, nutritional and health education.
