Virginia Tech Dental Outreach trip to the Dominican Republic, December 2016/January 2017

Ryan's Message

Hey everyone. This upcoming winter (Dec 27-Jan 10) I will be traveling to the Dominican Republic with the Dental Chapter of Volunteers Around the World (VAW). We will be setting up dental clinics to provide basic dental care to locals in Jarabacoa, DR. Any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

Volunteer Activity Description

Join Virginia Tech on their Dental Outreach trip to the Dominican Republic this winter break! We will have the opportunity to learn about various dental procedures, such as cleanings, restorations, fillings, and extractions, learn about the current healthcare system in the Dominican Republic as well as lead public health classes for children!
