Hi!
My name is Prisma Lopez. I am currently a sophomore at Georgia State University majoring in Neuroscience. My desire in the future is to become a doctor and impact the world. I have been accepted into The Volunteering Around the World Organization. In May, I have the opportunity to volunteer in Para, Brazil. This special trip is a medical outreach trip that will allow students to serve the less fortunate. I have the chance to help set up clinics, check vital signs, hand out medication, shadow doctors, and most importantly make a difference. The clinics will be set up for communities along the Amazon River. With your help, not only will I gain healthcare experience but be a helping hand to families in need.
