My name is Melissa Joseph and I am trying to raise funds to help me go on a medical brigade trip to Panama this August 2017. I have always wanted to go on a medical brigade but have never been in a position to do so. In my last summer at USF I will not be taking classes or committed to any extra-curricular activities and can finally go on a trip like this. This trip consists of 6 days working in a Panamanian clinic and helping to provide healthcare to those in need. I will also have the opportunity to shadow doctors and learn valuable skills in the medical field. In addition to gaining medical education and experiences I will be able to explore Panama! The cost of this trip is $1750 plus airfare. My goal is to raise $2,000 to help cover the cost of the trip and my flight there and back. Any donations towards my trip would be greatly appreciated.
