I am a second semester nursing student at Sacramento State, and I am thrilled at the opportunity to travel abroad to Peru this summer. I am passionate about learning new things, helping people however I can, and bettering my skills as a future nurse through new experiences.

About Us

The CSU Sacramento chapter of Volunteers Around the World (VAW) consists of students that are enthusiastic and committed about addressing the health disparities that currently exists in developing countries. Through close collaboration with the Non-Governmental Organization, Volunteers Around the World, our club at Sac State strives towards providing rural communities in developing countries access towards medical treatment, medication and nutritional and health education.
