The DHHS Health and Medical Academy Health TeleSquad is designed for aspiring health students to build medical knowledge through skill-based volunteering, build cultural competency through virtual immersion, and deliver real impact through our local team by participating in live clinics.

Dana Hills High School Global Health Telesquad April 2024 Greece

 Global Health Squads mobilizes students abroad to help improve health care access and sanitation infrastructure for children in under-resourced communities abroad. Projects include: mobile health clinics for children, building handwashing stations at schools, providing nutrition education and dental and vision clinics. Health Squads is a program of Global Brigades, a highly recognized international development organization that uniquely implements a Holistic Model that targets specific UN Sustainable Development goals within partner communities. Our model systematically builds community ownership and collaboratively executes programs with the end goal of sustainably transitioning to a relationship of impact monitoring.
