As a first generation college student, I am passionate about equal opportunities all across the world. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be the first in my family to attend a four-year university, and by doing so, have paved the way for generations to come. I have always been fond of helping those in need whether its giving a few dollars to a homeless person, tutoring a friend or donating blood, I believe that “true happiness comes from giving others their own”.

Coming from an underprivileged background, I am well aware of the challenges associated with pursuing your dreams. Someday, I will live out my life goals of helping disadvantaged individuals by means of offering affordable medical attention, inspiring young men and women to fight for their dreams, even if the odds are stacked against you, and by using my education to leave the world a better place then it is today.
