This May I will be volunteering in a medical brigade to Honduras with other students from UNH. During this trip we will be providing health care to a less fortunate community that has limited access to the health care they need. More specifically, I will be teaching them proper hygiene, such as oral health and hand washing along with healthy eating. Also, I will be taking the blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature of all the community members. I will be filling and dispensing medications for community members under the supervision of pharmacists and doctors, both local and foreign.
