I am so thrilled to have discovered the Global Medical Brigades. I have always wanted to go on a trip were the one goal was to help others. When I decided on becoming a nursing student, I made it one of my goals not to limit my education and skills to the United States. I believe this trip will be life changing and educational at the same time. I have yet to experience how people outside of the United States live. This trip will allow me to broaden my horizons, become more aware of global health problems, and make connections with communities outside of my own. I cannot wait to make new friends with children in Honduras.
