Passionate About:
Working to help provide underserved communities with the necessary resources to improve their health. Some of the ways that I am actively involved in doing so is through:
-Volunteering locally with Santa Barbara Street Medicine-Doctors Without Walls, a local non-profit humanitarian aid group that provides free medical care to the most vulnerable in Santa Barbara, our homeless population.
- Translating for Spanish speaking patients at local county clinics in Santa Barbara.
- Global Medical Brigades allows me to bring this passion of working with the underserved abroad where students and clinicians travel to those in the most need, and medical care is provided on site free of charge.
