Specifically, I believe in order to actually help and not hurt people in dire need is to work hand in hand on a local level, using funds wisely and effectively. I don’t believe in just handing out aid money and not knowing how or specifically where it is being used. This group is “engaging and training students” and I want to do just so. I want to be a part of it. I want to help in anyway I can. I want to join this organization so I can make a difference and do something truly meaningful.
