I am a Biomedical Science student at UCCS with the hopes becoming a doctor in India so that I an help people who can't easily get health care. Besides medicine, India is my passion and it is also the country of my heart. For 3 years I have been teaching myself to speak, read, and write in Hindi. I also can speak Bengali, and Urdu, and I am currently learning Punjabi and Tamil. Serving with Global Medical Brigades will give me experience for medical school, and it will also provide an opportunity for me to learn about practicing medicine outside of the United States.
