My desire to be a part of the Global Brigades is because the mission of the organization truly aligns with my goals of serving the under-resourced communities. Being a part of this organization will allow me to work towards my goal of resolving global health and economic disparities. Most of all, being on a team with other students who have the same motives as me to improve equality of life for others is very empowering.
