Global Brigades Sustainable Donations

Global Brigades is the world’s largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Since 2004, Global Brigades has mobilized thousands of university students and professionals through nine skill-based programs that work in partnership with community members to improve quality of life in under resourced regions while respecting local culture. It is our ultimate goal to work with local communities to build foundations so strong that we can leave these rural villages with sustainable programs that will help improve their lives. Throughout the year we send almost 10,000 students abroad to volunteer, listen and learn from our indigenous staff and community members. Through the process we are able to empower over 300,000 individuals living in rural Central America and West Africa with access to: Microfinance Sustainable medicine Public Health infrastructure Clean water and much more... For every $100 we raise we can double the impact of a students contribution to our communities. Please give today and help grow the Sustainable Exit Fund which will allow us to not only build stronger foundations of health and security in our current communities but to move on and scale our sustainable solutions to many more.

Make the Change - Cassie Laurenzo

Make the Change is a program started by Cassie Laurenzo as a result of a spur of the moment, solo trip to Ghana at the age of 21. The following year, she returned to assess 22 rural villages and gather data for Global Brigades, a non profit she has worked with for many years, to see about expanding their programs to the country. To date, she has provided much needed educational supplies, granted nearly 100 scholarships and provided aid in repairing and building two different school blocks. Her partnership with Global Brigades USA has proven to be a vital partnership in reaching her goals.
