UT Austin Microfinance Brigade Jan 2015 Honduras

Niki's Message

Hello family and friends!
This January I will be joining the largest student-led social responsibility movement on this planet, Global Brigades. Please join me in supporting the work that I will be doing in Honduras. As a donor you are helping me meet the cost of traveling to Honduras and various living expenses during the course of the trip, but more importantly you are contributing to the sustainability of UT's Global Brigades work and service in Honduran communities.

Volunteer Activity Description

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.
