Fundraising Campaign Message

I am raising money to help send myself and 8 other individuals to a small village in South Africa this summer. The program is entirely new at University of San Diego, created through collaboration between 8 students, the Chair of the Political Science/International Relations Department, and the non-profit organization Sharing to Learn.

Our goal is to develop community-building projects and structures that will promote substantial improvement in the quality of life for the villagers. We hope to help amend the broken education system, promote youth involvement, and increase the self-efficacy of those who are deprived of the most basic needs.

Sharing to Learn is a young non-profit looking to expand their influence within South Africa, as well as other educational locations around the world. By connecting children in a global setting, Sharing to Learn hopes to cultivate the knowledge and passion within these children that can spur substantial change.

To find out more about Sharing to Learn, please visit: http://sharingtolearn.org/
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the trip, the organization, the university or any other inquiries. My e-mail is: nadalie_malsam@yahoo.com

This trip is allowing me the opportunity to utilize the skills I've gained over the last four years at USD, and the potential to share my passion for learning with others. I have wanted to visit Africa my entire life, and I could not ask for a better way to accomplish this goal. Thank you for even considering a donation, your efforts will be put to use in the most honorable and resourceful way. All monetary donations will directly benefit those in South Africa.
Thank you again, and God bless
