Microenterprise Conference

  • About
Global Brigades works closely with volunteers from rural communities in Honduras to start, improve and maintain microenterprises. This December 4-9, Global Brigades will partner with business professionals to facilitate a Microenterprise Conference to provide community bank members with important information and tools. Current projects include chicken farms, tilapia farms, bakeries, agricultural stores and coffee farms. Business professionals will prepare presentations on various topics during the months leading up to the December conference. Once in Honduras, volunteers will visit communities, gain cultural context, become familiar with our current projects to make final alterations to their conference presentations. The conference will cover supply chain and operations, organizational structures, sales and margin analysis, cost-benefit analysis, and marketing and strategy.

Please contact Eli LaSota, a Global Brigades Honduras Program Associate, with any questions by sending an email to eli.lasota@globalbrigades.org.
