Michaela Carter
Lexington, KYPassionate About:
My passion for the human body first sparked when I was given an anatomy model on my 9th birthday. I spent hours taking it apart and putting it back together, learning about each structure and how they interacted with each other. My love for the human body only grew as I participated in numerous hospital volunteer programs and shadowed amazing physicians. Each day, I would experience the feeling of satisfaction as physician and staff would work rhythmically together in order to provide the best care for their patients. From my experiences, I have learned that medicine is more than just the body, it's about cooperation, humility, and the ability to ask for help. My goal is to broaden my medical experience while serving those who need help. So, I am asking you today to help make this goal a reality. I want to be able to take this experience and grew as I embark on my medical journey. It all starts with a helping hand.
