God gave us two hands, one to help ourselves and one to help others. I live by this quote and this is my main reason for joining the medical brigades. I along with other student volunteers will be traveling to Honduras on June 3rd for a 9 day mission. We will be empowering the local communities with programs that improve the quality of life while respecting the culture and improving their environment. Personally, I have to raise $1,630 for in country logistics, medical supplies and supplies to help build up the community. I appreciate everyone who donates and I will in turn work hard to impact the lives of everyone I meet in Honduras.
