Being in the medical field was relevant to me as a young adult. I have always loved caring for people. After taking several courses in college it became more clear that this is what I wanted to pursue. Shadowing doctors, PA's and volunteering made me more eager to strive for this dream. By discovering Global Brigades from a friend, it seems like the perfect opportunity for me to expand my knowledge with hands on learning.
