Join EarthCorps and the Port of Seattle in celebrating the legacy of service left by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr at this restoration event. Terminal 105 restoration construction was completed in 1995; prior to that, the narrow property was used as driveway and parking lot. Now it is a Port of Seattle public access site with picnic tables, a hand boat launch, and a small natural area. Environmental stewardship activities began in 2000. EarthCorps is working with the Port of Seattle to remove additional invasive weeds along the main river channel and replace them with native plants.
