As a very active and outgoing person I am very passionate about living a healthy lifestyle. My time outside of the library and work is often spent at the gym, playing soccer, or getting lost in the mountains. Aside from a very active lifestyle I find that my true passion and calling is in biomedical sciences. Working as a part time CNA I find that providing care for others that cannot provide care for themselves is one of the most gratifying feelings in the world. My passion for assisting others and biomedical science pushes me to pursue a future career as a surgeon, where I hope to provide care for others in my local and international community. This trip will give me an opportunity to not only change the lives of others, but see outside the traditional medical system found in the United States which will provide invaluable knowledge to better serve my community.
