I've always wanted to volunteer abroad and make a difference. Yes, there will always be things that need to be worked on locally, but there is something about getting out of your comfort zone and seeing that people may not be as well off as you are, it almost grounds you. This year, I am on the E-Board for Global Brigades as a Social Media Chair. Not only will this postion help me tremendously with my major but it is also something that I am interested in. I am a Marketing major studying at Fox School of Business at Temple University, and a part of Alpha Xi Delta. I may not have alot of free time but being a part of an organization like Global Brigades makes it worth while.
