I am so excited to be a part of my first Global Brigades initiative when I travel to Ghana for the month of August. I will be working with the organization contributing to their research, evaluation, and program follow up as well as shadowing local healthcare providers and interacting with the local community members to assist in making sure that they can have the best possible care.

I am a rising senior at Loyola University Maryland majoring in Biology and Psychology. I love the beach and spending time with my family and friends. I always try to find peace and beauty in the smallest things like the clouds or moon in the sky, a beautiful sunset, or getting lost in a great song.

I enjoy using my blessings and talents to serve others not only to help alleviate the struggles that they might have in their life but because I also think it's fascinating to learn about a different culture and way of life. Teaching each other about ourselves and learning from each other is a powerful way to serve. I truly believe that everyone we meet has a story to share and a smile to spread.
