Hey guys! I'm grateful to have gotten another opportunity to volunteer in under-served communities - this time in Honduras!

I’m going on a three-day medical brigade to an underserved, rural community in Honduras next month! While there, we’ll be putting together a mobile clinic to reach out to hundreds of locals who don’t get to see a doctor regularly. We set up a consult, dental station, ob/gyn station, pharmacy and “charlas” which is Spanish for “chat time” where we let them know the importance of brushing your teeth every day and washing your hands before eating because many of them are not aware of proper hygiene.

Afterwards I’ll also be participating in a three-day public health brigade where me and my fellow volunteers will build a shower and functional latrines for three families in need.
