As I've gotten older, I have begun more and more to want to give back and help others as I have been helped in the past. This semester I joined the Volunteer Corps at the College of Charleston and have had the opportunity to do just that. I plan to continue doing this and I am especially looking forward to the trip to Honduras. We have the chance to help make a real difference in peoples' lives.

Volunteer Activity Description

Fundraise with your Global Business Brigades chapter on campus to meet the minimum $1,500 USD annual chapter contribution.

The annual chapter contribution directly supports the Community Investment Fund, which enables year-round economic development in partner communities carried out by our local teams. The Community Investment Fund is a critical component to GB’s Sustainable Transition Plan. Once a partner community has met specific health and economic development goals and brigades are no longer necessary, GB transitions projects fully to the community and offers follow-up with our local staff.
