About Global Brigades USA
Global Brigades USA is the world's largest student-led global health and sustainable development organization. Our mission is to empower volunteers and under-resourced communities to resolve global health and economic disparities and inspire all involved to collaboratively work towards an equal world. Since 2005, more than 30,000 volunteers from 800 university groups have traveled to implement our nine skill-based programs to benefit more than 600,000 community members in Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, and Ghana.

Jan 03	Spanish Language Certificate Spring 2013 - Mar 01 2013 Jan 03 2013 - Mar 01 2013 Global Brigades is now offering students and health professionals the opportunity to take an 8 week online certificate in Spanish focusing on vocabulary used in Global Health. After the 8 week Certificate Program, students will: ● become conversational in medical Spanish ● be more equipped to help during Brigades ● acquire tangible language skills for a future health career

Our next project is the design and construction of a health and community center in El Cantón, Honduras. Register to compete in the \"Building Health Challenge\" by posting your $250 entry fee here by December 31st. The design competition will be in January/February of 2012, and construction will begin shortly thereafter.
