I will be traveling to Panama in May with other medical and design students from Philadelphia University as part of the Global Medical Brigades, one of the largest student-led global health and sustainable development organizations. Every 3-4 months, a brigade of students and faculty travel to areas in the world where there is limited or no access to healthcare. We work with licensed medical professional to establish mobile medical clinics in under resourced communities. We will perform wellness checks and provide treatment.

I believe one way to effectively show love to people is to meet their physical needs first. No one should be denied the access to healthcare just because they were not born in as fortunate of a country such as ours. I would like to ask you to contribute to my trip. The funds raised help pay for the projects during the brigade and all the things necessary to ensure the brigade runs as smoothly as possible. Our goal is to raise at least $1642 per person.
