    WAVES for Development believes surf tourism can benefit the communities where it happens.

    Our Clemson inquiry based learning class is working closely with WAVES to fully understand the operations of an international NGO and to participate in their programs in Peru.

    WAVES believes development work is best done when the ideas come from, and are implemented by, the community.

    Since 2007 WAVES has been working closely with the community of Lobitos, Peru to assist in developing Environmental, Social and Entrepreneurial programs.
