Volunteer Activity Description
Water Brigade volunteers work with professional engineers design full scale clean water systems to bring
water directly into the homes of rural communities. Each water system is broken into week-long projects
that volunteers implement alongside community members. After several brigades, a community is able
to celebrate the creation of a complete water system, which helps to prevent communicable illnesses in
communities.
This will be the first brigade of the new Johns Hopkins Water Brigade chapter!!
