Studying biology as Acadia I have developed a very strong interest in the public health and medical aspect of my degree, I have grown to love taking any chance I can to leave the country and see how other individuals are making an impact in their communities regarding public health issues. I am very excited to go to Honduras this spring with my university, Acadia University to do a Public Health Brigade to a community that will greatly benefit from our volunteer efforts. Last summer I spent time in Ghana working in a hospital so I am excited to have the opportunity to once again go out and help people in need across the globe! Any donation towards my personal initiative goal is greatly appreciated as every penny makes a difference!
