--->April Chavez (Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM...Dine\'/Kewa Pueblo): April Kateri Chavez proudly represents the Diné Nation and the Pueblo of Santo Domingo. She has been featured in HBO’s Russell Simmons’ Brave New Voices series, and served as a Cultural Ambassador for the U.S. Embassy in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania where she performed poetry, taught writing workshops, and shared her Native culture. Based in Santo Domingo Pueblo, NM, she currently attends Stanford University, with plans of attending law school upon graduation.

---->Kiawitl Xochitl (Houston, TX...Xicana): Kiawitl Xochitl (“rain-flower\") is a Xicana mother of 3, an MC/vocalist, graffiti artist and traditional dancer who has been planting seeds of empowerment, awareness and ancestral consciousness through her unique musical sound using contrasting vocals inspiring feel good energy for the past 15 years. She represents Native Texan roots as a dynamic vocalist bringing her unique Chicana/Native Hip Hop Soul sound. She has been featured in the Source Magazine, BET, Mun2 and in the books Graffiti Women, Chicano Rap, on the covers of La Nueva Raza Newspaper & Houston’s La Vibra Magazine. She is currently featured in Graffiti Verite 11, Don\'t Believe Da Noize-Voices from the Underground. Often the only female performer on all male line-ups, she has become a positive force in hip-hop covering social issues and calling for change. She focuses on maintaining the Indigenous traditions of Texas and has re-established her family for 3 generations back into the ceremonies.
