Santa Cruz High Spring Break to Ecuador

Bailey's Message

I am super excited to visit a new country and volunteer to help make their community a better place. Traveling and visiting other countries helps me be more aware of the world and makes me appreciate what I have and appreciate how others live in these different countries.

Volunteer Activity Description

Contribute toward GSE's local projects: estuary research and reforestation, tropical dry forest re-vegetation and sustainable school gardens in collaboration with local students

Participate in discussion sessions about natural history, environment and culture

Camp at beautiful La Punta Gorda beach and stay at GSE's hill top Casa Gorda with ocean view
